Construction of a 148.5 MW wind farm, using 33 Nordex 4.5 MW wind turbines. The work includes the civil and electrical works of the wind farm, as well as the interconnection, with the construction of the substation and the evacuation line.
This project is one of five renewable assets in the Huemul portfolio, which constitutes Phase 2 of Mainstream’s 630 MW Andes Renewables platform. Huemul includes three onshore wind assets and two solar photovoltaic generation assets. These assets will generate enough sustainable electricity to power 781,000 Chilean homes and reduce CO2 emissions by 744,200 metric tonnes each year.
