Construction of the overhead contact line installations, traction electrical substations and associated auto-transformer centres on the Plasencia-Badajoz section of the Madrid-Extremadura High Speed Line, specifically in the areas of Cañaveral, Carmonita and Sagrajas. These facilities are essential for the operation and efficiency of the High Speed Line.
In November 2023, the project entered the maintenance phase, thus ensuring the operability and durability of the constructed facilities.
