The Finch West Light Rail Transit is a new 11 km light rail line that will run along Finch Avenue West in Toronto and will be fully integrated into the city’s existing transportation system. The line will have a total of 18 overground stops, as well as an underground stop at Humber College and an underground interchange station at the TTC’s Finch West underground station.
Cymi has completed the installation of the 11 km of double-track catenary, nine prefabricated traction substations and the corresponding feeders. Mosaic Transit Group (the company selected by Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario) has also subcontracted SICE to supply a wide range of communications systems, all integrated under a new SCADA developed by SICE.
