Design, implementation and construction of the electromechanical installations, control systems and maintenance of the Femern Tunnel, one of the most ambitious civil engineering and transport infrastructure projects in Europe and the longest submerged road and rail tunnel in the world.
Cobra is responsible for the delivery of the electrical and mechanical installations and the complete maintenance of the tunnel. SICE is responsible for the electromechanical, instrumentation, control and automation package and the Control Centre. It will also install its own Centralised Management solution: SIDERA, and a new collaborative methodology, the BIM methodology, will be used.
