COBRA IS has its own structure for the development and management of renewable assets.

The Group’s extensive experience in EPC construction enables it to undertake the development of its own projects in different countries. It focuses on projects that drive clean and sustainable energy, in line with the commitment of the shareholder VINCI. This includes the development, construction and financing of renewable energy plants, water infrastructure and major transmission lines to integrate renewables and accelerate the environmental transition.

Currently, COBRA IS has a significant amount of renewable energy either under construction or in operation, totaling 3.5 GW. Of this, 0.6 GW is in operation, mostly generated by the Belmonte plant in Brazil. Additionally, there are approximately 2.9 GW under construction in Spain, Brazil, and Texas (USA). The ongoing projects include three plants in Brazil (Mundo Novo, Raios do Parnaíba, and Cristino Castro) totaling 1.4 GW, 21 plants in Spain with a total of 1.2 GW, and two in the USA with approximately 0.2 GW.
